Library

Reading does not stop when the bell rings. Using out-of-study time can be an effective way to boost reading skills while engaging students outside the classroom. So, in SIS, we ensure every grade has a Class Library apart from the well-equipped library and students are encouraged to pick books from the display racks and read, either individually or in pairs.

Students are further encouraged to read the soft board display in the library and to post write- ups on books they have read. The zero period every day sees a couple of volunteers go to the head of the class to share their experience of reading a book.
