The last day at school before the much-awaited Diwali break was a jam-packed day with the Inter-House Dance Drama Competition being held along with the Class Decoration competition in the latter part of the day. With the festival season already bringing lots of cheer and enthusiasm in everyone, the Inter-House Dance Drama Competition showcased talent from all the four houses with some very serious themes being touched upon. Red House presented a dance drama on ‘Drug Abuse’, Green House performed a presentation on the burning theme of ‘Child labour’. While the Blue House presented a dance drama on ‘Acid Attacks’ the Yellow House touched on the sensitive issue of ‘Female Foeticide’. Each student came out with the best in terms of their dancing capabilities and what they could achieve through artistic expression. Finally, the Yellow House was adjudged the best presenters followed by Blue House in the second position and Green House in the third position. Ms Vineeta Dhankhar and Ms Poonam Kumari were the judges who had a tough time choosing the best presentation out of the four. The program ended with a valuable message by the Principal, Mr Singh, for the need for all of the audience to be the ambassadors of a better social order and he concluded with a safe Diwali wish for all.
