The Sehwag International School, Haryana, celebrated India’s 69th Independence Day. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school during evening time, and many activities were planned in the school premises. The theme of the programme EK SHAAM DESH KE NAAM held the audience captive. This event made more special by giving it a tinge of different regional poems. To prove unity in diversity in India, students and staff of SIS recited and sang poems in their languages, Rajasthani, Assamese, Malayalam, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Oriya and Bengali. All participants brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland. The school Amphitheatre reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm.
