Sehwag International School celebrated the 64th Republic Day with patriotic fervor.

The event was inaugurated with flag hoisting by the Principal, Mrs Aarti Srivastav, followed by recitation of Rabindra Nath Tagore’s prayer, “Where the Mind Is without Fear” by seventh grade students.

Students also showcased several dance performances, with the youngest students performing on “Hum Chote Chote Bachche Hain”. This was followed by two very inspiring and energetic performances by the students of Grade four on “Ai Watan, Ai Watan” and by Grade five on “Maa Tujhe Salaam”.

At the end, Principal maam in her speech highlighted the meaning of the word ‘Republic’, the relevance of the Constitution and inspired the students to enjoy freedom and become responsible students. The starting of the year, with this event, was celebrated with grandeur and great enthusiasm
