Junior Pitch, an initiative of Sehwag Cricket Academy, is a weekend cricket league for children below the age of 14 years.

About Junior Pitch – 2016

This league was conceptualized after we realized that it was only the really talented kids who were getting a chance to play matches – be it at school level or at academy level. However, there is no opportunity for the kids who are equally passionate about the sport but have not got a chance to showcase their talent or just want to come out and have some fun.

It provides an opportunity for children to play friendly matches and develop as a team player.

Cricket has its own character and it is for these young gentlemen to instill the same and play as little champions. The league does not envision a culminating point by awarding winners. Rather, it is dedicated towards encouraging the young talents who have chosen cricket as a part of their disciplined life.

Junior Pitch starts on 2nd April 2016 and ends by mid May 2016. The matches will be played on each Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. In total, there are Thirty-two teams in 5 groups and each team gets to play six matches making it a total of 101 matches across 5 venues.
